Join a Professional to Learn to Take Pictures Like a Pro using the Camera You Already Have In One Of
The Most Beautiful Locations
On The Eastern Shore

Professionals and first time photographers alike have an opportunity to spend time photographing in the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and along the Assateague National Seashore while learning to take better photos with the camera gear you already have. Join photographer Patty Hankins for a weekend of winter photography in Chincoteague.

According to Hankins, “Winter is the perfect time to photograph at Chincoteague. There are very few people, no bugs and early sunsets so you can make it to your dinner reservation by 7 PM. “

Whether you photograph with a camera that fits in your pocket or use the latest DSLR, ultimately your photographs are judged on their quality.  Hankins not only focuses on making sure participants get the most out of their camera, but also have the opportunity to experience this part of the country.

As Hankins points out, “Going in a group is really valuable. By being with other outdoor enthusiasts, you have a chance to learn not only from the instructor but also from the other participants.”

Participants will come home having experienced  beautiful locations through the eyes of a photographer  and with photos they are proud to share with friends and family

The photographic adventures are led by Patty Hankins of, a landscape and nature photographer whose work is enjoyed around the world by her over 600,000 fans on Facebook and over 25,000 followers on Twitter.  Hankins was recently described as “one of the most professional fine art floral photographers” when she was ranked #1 on TopTenly’s list of the Top 10 Best Macro Photographers in the World.
